Girls in IT

This week I went to my first Computer Mania Day organization meeting. I am going to help with the Registration on the day of the conference. This purpose of Computer Mania day is to spur girls to become interested in technology. The longterm goal is to get them to pursue technical and engineering careers. Since I happen to teach a computer class and have a very low enrollment of girls, this particular topic is of interest to me.  As I find articles of interest, I will post them to this blog.
